Biography
Josephine Linden
Mrs. Linden has been a member of the board since March 2014 and has served as Chair of the Board since October 2014. She founded and has been the managing member and principal of Linden Global Strategies LLC, a New York-based SEC registered investment management firm working with sophisticated U.S. and international clients, since September 2011. From September 2010 to July 2011, she held an Adjunct Professor position in the Finance department of Columbia Business School. In November 2008, Mrs. Linden retired from Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a Partner and Managing Director after having been with the firm for more than 25 years, where she held a variety of roles, including Managing Director and Regional Manager of the New York office for Private Wealth Management, head of Global Equities Compliance, and an Advisor to GSJBWere, Australia. She serves as a trustee, and sits on the executive committee, of Collegiate School in New York, New York, and also has served as its Treasurer, and Chair of its Finance, Audit and Nominating Committees. She acts as Financial Advisor to The Prince of Wales Foundation. She served as a director of Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores, Inc. from October 2012 to October 2019. Mrs. Linden has also served as a non-executive director of Evans Dixon Limited since May 2018, and as a director of Trine Acquisition Corp. since May 2019.
She received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, with a specialization in Finance, and a B.A. from the University of Sydney. Mrs. Linden brings extensive knowledge of capital markets and other financial matters to the Board from her 25-year career with Goldman Sachs
