Additional Holiday Survey Findings
- Cyber Shopping - Two-thirds (66 percent) of survey respondents stated they will do most of their holiday shopping online this year.
- To Stress or Not to Stress - Survey respondents were very divided when it came to holiday stress. More than half (51 percent) said they experience holiday stress while 49 percent stated the holidays are stress-free.
- Stylish Sleeping - Four out of ten (40 percent) respondents plan on wearing special holiday pajamas this season.
- Present Procrastination - A large percentage of respondents (46 percent) admit to procrastinating when it comes to holiday shopping.
- Free Shipping! - More than half of holiday shoppers (56 percent) stated they plan to shop on National Free Shipping Day.
- All About Convenience - When it comes to online shopping, 84 percent of respondents do so for the convenience. Other reasons include to avoid the crowds (77 percent), find the best deals (76 percent) and to comparison shop (75 percent).
- When to Shop - Most holiday shoppers will shop during the first two weeks of December (42 percent). Only 1 percent will wait until
Christmas Eve .
